History of ancient Egypt

The Pyramids in Egypt are the world’s most advanced civilization and treasure of architectural monuments. They are also one of the 7 wonders of the world today. To achieve the perfect proportions of architecture in the making of pyramids, it took 4 generations and 7 pharaohs to achieve the success of these Pyramids. In the year 2667 B.C a young enterprising pharaoh named Joser claimed the first ownership of the world’s first stones super structure. King D. Joser was crowned as King in 2667 B.C ruler of Egypt’s old kingdom period. As such Egyptian kings have been building lavished dooms since centuries. But King D. Joser wanted to defeat his predecessors and come up with a revolutionary pyramid which will be a good result in contrast to regular dooms or monuments.

The concept he applied was completely different than what his predecessors used in those days in the making of the pyramids. He wanted to build a doom not from mud or bricks but from stones. To build the first pyramid the king chose a place named “Saqqara.”The recruits or laborers in the making of pyramid were compensated with basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter. A group of 20 laborers were assigned for each division of pyramid. Nearly 10,000 laborers were recruited to build this huge complex. In 2659 BC the Egyptians were on the work of world’s biggest stone Mega structure. A massive doom complex for the Pharaoh King D. Joser. The man behind this great architecture was king D. Joser’s right hand “Inhoteb”. He was the person to bring the system in place to cut, construct and transport the stones for the massive building block of these pyramids. The stones were carried to the construction site using nothing but ropes, sleds, muscle and sweat.

The pyramids core consisted of eight steps preceding skywards at a sharp angle. King Snefru ordered his builders to fill in the steps from top to bottom with packing stones. Then he enclosed the casing of doom with a polished lime stones giving the structure smooth sides. In an attempt to avoid structural problems to the pyramid, king Snefru’s engineers pursued a more gradual angle of the inclination in one of the pyramids. And he also strengthened the foundation by using large blocks and superior foundation. After King Snefru there were many other pharaohs who were involved in the improving and polishing the structure of pyramid and this continued for many generations. The pyramids are now 4600 years old.

Egypt is a place where one can find the unique treasuries of the world and things that one has never ever seen before. The treasures here are impeccable and must watch once in lifetime.
